What is HouseJockey.com?

HouseJockey.com is a community-oriented site that helps you promote your home. Listing is quick, easy, and free for FSBO sellers and realtors alike. HouseJockey.com allows users to create printable custom flyers.

Who are you guys?

HouseJockey.com was started in August 2005 by a group of young professionals in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We wanted to combine our individual expertise in the areas of real estate, web production, and marketing to create a useful service for the growing population of homeowners choosing to sell "By Owner."

HouseJockey.com is Matt, Steve, and Bryan.

Matt is the programmer and designer responsible for building and maintaining the site.

Steve is the real estate whiz behind the scenes. He puts his ideas forward for public scrutiny on the HouseJockey Blog.

Bryan is responsible for marketing and public relations, and helping people find out about HouseJockey.com.

Why is this free?

All of the money HouseJockey.com makes comes from the "Ads by Google" banner you see on the left of most pages. While we are by no means rich, it keeps us happy enough to keep offering everything for free.
