All of the money HouseJockey.com makes comes from the "Ads by Google" banner you see on the left of most pages. Offering a reliable cost-free service tends to generate a lot of traffic. This traffic is what makes our advertising effective. This means HouseJockey.com is and always will be a free service.

1. Will you ever sell or share my e-mail address/name/phone number to anyone?

No. The only information anyone can find is what you have posted on your listing page. The only way anyone can find this information is by using the web page "search" or "browse" function (the same way you find it). We also change your e-mail address into an image of your e-mail address so that bots trying to search the internet for e-mail addresses (to spam) can't get yours.

2. Are there any hidden fees?

No. You can add a listing, create and print flyers, and link anyone you want to this page. At no point will you or potential buyers ever be charged anything for any basic or premium type service.

3. This sounds like a scam. What is the catch?

We make no claims to be a charity or a non-profit type business. Our business model, unlike many other realty web pages, revolves around getting as many buyers and sellers using our web page as possible. This benefits us because all of our money is generated from Google Adsense banners (you can see it on the left). 4. What is the best advice you can offer for marketing my house?

This is an easy answer: Put up the professionally designed HouseJockey.com flyers. You could be listed on every internet realty web page, on the top of every local newspaper classified section, and in contact with multiple brokers looking for buyer leads and none of these will match the power of these flyers. Putting up these flyers will take several hours of your time... You will have to brainstorm some places to put them (where you work, supermarkets, etc), possibly call those places, print the flyers, and cut the phone number tabs on the bottom. In the end, however, it will pay off more than any other marketing method you could do.

5. My question was not answered here. Can I contact you?

If you send an e-mail during normal M-F business hours you will typically get a response within a couple of hours. If you send it on the weekend it may take longer. As of today (Sep, 2006) we do not get too many e-mails to be overwhelmed. It is very helpful for us to know about any problems our users have, and we really like suggestions for new features as well!
